Morocco's three mobile operators
The Moroccan market runs on three national networks. All three cover the major cities and road corridors; the differences show up in rural areas and in whatever offer is running that month.
Maroc Telecom, Orange Maroc and Inwi all sell prepaid SIM cards to visitors, under the same passport registration rules. The three networks are run by separate companies, with their own masts and their own weak spots.
For a stay in the cities and along the main roads, any of the three will do. For a stay in one particular valley or on a track, the only reliable answer comes from the people who live there and know which of the three reaches them.

Why this page quotes no prices
Moroccan prepaid plans change often: seasonal promotions, tourist packs that run for a few months, data allowances revised without notice. Publishing a price here would mean showing stale information most of the year. Current rates are on the operators' own sites, and displayed at the counter when you buy.
The three questions to ask at the counter
At the counter, ask what exactly is included, how long it stays valid, and what happens once the data allowance runs out. Those three points explain most unpleasant surprises.

Destination before price
A few dirhams between two plans matters far less than a valley your operator does not reach. If your trip centres on one region, ask locally.

Your arrival time
The choice is often made for you: whichever counter is open when you land. For a short city stay, that is not a bad criterion.

How long you are staying
For a few days, a short pack is enough. For several weeks, look at how long the plan stays valid and how top-ups work, which differs between operators.
